Even as the Congress and the Samajwadi Party has kept the options open to accomodate him in their seat sharing arrangement, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) leader Ajit Singh didn’t show any hurry to join an alliance. Singh today hinted that he is still weighing his options between Mayawati’s BSP and Mulayam Singh Yadav’s SP for an alliance in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.

“We are not in a discussion with any political party for any pre-poll alliance, the decision on any alliance with any party would be taken at a proper time”, Singh said in Muzaffarnagar today. While he alligned with Mayawati during the trust vote of the Manmohan Singh government, today Singh accused Mayawati-led UP government of not providing the right price to sugarcane farmers and favouring mill owners who owed crores of rupees to sugar cane growers.
