All eyes on Reliance Petro

The focus is likely to be on the listing of Reliance Petro and movement in Reliance & Reliance Ptero. Oil stocks as a whole bunch could see hectic action today.

The Sensex is likely to open with yet another positive gap today. On the upsides, the index could face some resistance around 12,670, before moving towards 12,770.

On the down-side, 12,550 is a crucial support for the index, a sustained drop below which could see an acceleration in the downmove.

Banswara Synthetics could see some action while the board meets today to consider a proposal for bonus issue. The company will also announce its earnings today.

Avaya Global, Jyoti Structure, KEI Industries, Punjab Tractors, Sunil Hitech, Voltas, Stone India and Z F Steering are the other companies scheduled to announce their earnings today.
