Amp Sanmar & #8217;S Bid For Rural Spread In Ap

The Andhra Pradesh government and AMP Sanmar Assurance Company, a Chennai-based private life insurance player, have signed an MoU to recruit and train 200 insurance agents for the company from the rural areas of Karimnagar, Kurnool, Nellore and East Godavari districts.

As per the MoU, the state youth services department will initially select the candidates and hand them over to AMP Sanmar who in turn will make final selection. AMP Sanmar would be responsible for the training of the selected candidates as required by the regulations.

The recruited agents after getting the Agent's licence from IRDA will receive a stipend of Rs 500 per month from AMP Sanmar for a period of six months, subject to minimum productivity norms, in addition to the commission on the policies sold by them.
