Amtex 2006 starts tomorrow

Amtex 2006, India's second biggest machine tool and engineering industrial fair, being held in Bangalore will provide the domestic engineering industry a platform to forge links with their foreign counterparts in terms of sales, marketing, technology transfers.

The five-day event is supported by a technical conference on "India, a Super Power "" Challenges Ahead" in which technical papers will be presented by industry professionals.

Amtex 2006 is sponsored by BFW Ltd, Atlas Copco, Bangalore Machine Tools Manufacturers Network and Carl Zeiss India and is supported by government of Karnataka, NSIC, CMTI and State Bank of Mysore.

The exhibition will see participation from countries like the US, Germany, Italy, Israel, Turkey, China and Taiwan.
