Anand Rathi Securities is of the opinion that in today's trading session the sentiments are expected to continue on a cautiously optimistic note.

The only major near-term trigger for the Indian market and stocks in specific would be the first quarter results announcements.

Lack of clarity and consistency in sentiments indicator, coupled with a lack of participation would continue to pose a pressure on volatility and clarity in market direction for some more time to come.

The uncertainty in the global crude market due to some of the recent developments have added further concern to the market trend.
