Two new airports will come up in Andhra Pradesh in a span of about three years at Nellore and Ongole. While the Nellore airport will come up in an extent of 2,000 acres, the Ongole airport will be spread over an area of 1,500 acres.
The terms and conditions on a G to G model for these airports are being worked out. The state government will provide water, power and road connectivity to the proposed airports, , according to an official press release here on Saturday.
