Another positive start likely

Strong global cues and steady buying by foreign and local funds is likely to boost the market sentiment in early trades. The Sensex is likely to open higher and may attempt to cross its yesterday's high.

However, profit-taking at higher levels cannot be ruled out. On the upside, the index is likely to face resistance around 12,430 levels before advancing to its yesterday's high of 12,483.

On the downside, the index is likely to find support around 12,260-12,200 levels.

Apollo Tyre, Shree Cement, Vijaya Bank and Asian Electronics are scheduled to announce their earnings today.
