AP CM seeks more credit cards for artisans

Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has urged the Prime Minister to allocate more number of cards to the state under the artisan credit scheme which was launched on Friday.
"There are over 1.68 lakh handloom weavers in AP. But we received only 16,000 credit cards," said Naidu when the prime minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, interacted with the CMs of AP, Orissa and UP after formally launching the scheme through a video conference.
