The Andhra Pradesh government has ordered a CBI inquiry into the chopper crash in which former chief minister Rajasekhara Reddy and four others died last week. Interim Chief Minister K Rosaiah requested Union Home Minister P Chidambaram for a CBI probe into the tragedy, a statement issued by the government said.
The state government has also decided to constitute a two-member high-level expert committee consisting of M R Reddy, a retired IPS officer and an exert in VIP security, and HS Kola, former director general of civil aviation, to probe the chopper crash in two months.
