AP govt seeks agri tech, investments from Israel

 Making a presentation to a 12-member delegation of the Israeli agro-technology industry here, he sought the good offices of the Israeli ambassador in India, David Danieli, for attracting major investments in this area from Israel.

 Stating that the Kuppam project initiated in 1997 with Israel technology had so far covered 10,000 acres under high-value vegetable crops and it had resulted in improving the net revenue per acre per annum from $100 to $920, Naidu said that another 10,000 hectares would be covered in the second phase.
