AP philatelic expo from Oct 16

 The department organises the event with to promote philately among various sections of the society, especially among children. It has allotted 370 frames in the competitive class, of which 170 are under the Youth section for junior philatelists. Under the invitee class, 60 frames are allotted to eminent philatelists.

 Some of the themes of the special covers to be released by the department at the exhibition include Tourism - Buddha's statue at Hussain Sagar, Raghavendra Swamy temple, Cultural heritage - Lambads and Railways - MMTS. These covers will be available for sale at the venue.
