AP to buy power from other states

 Energy minister K Subbarayudu said APTransco would resort to load relief for 2 hours during peak time to industrial and town feeders to maintain assured hours of supply to agriculture sector.

 Hydro power generation in the state from April 1 to October 14 was only 950 mu as against the normal generation of 4,620 mu. Inflows to Srisailam resorvoir during this period was 100 TMCft as against the anticipated inflow of 597 TMCft.
