Apollo Hospitals and Life Styles Ltd are planning to set up health clinics in Uttar Pradesh. Dr Morepen Ltd is planning to give franchisees in health and beauty retailing sector in the state.
Responding to their interest, the Uttar Pradesh Finance Corporation (UPFC) offered them financial collaboration during the TIECON-2003, organised by Tie-Uttar Pradesh and KSA Technopak.
R N Trivedi, UPFC managing director, said the corporation was authorised to give loan for trading outlets as well. Trivedi offered to finance the franchisees of Dr Morepen.
Arvind Natarjaan of Dr Morepen Ltd said setting up of a franchisee would cost up to Rs 2 crore. A similar amount would be required to establish Apollo Clinics, said Ratan Japan of Apollo Healthcare.
