Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said on Tuesday the Union Cabinet had taken "appropriate decision" on the political developments in Karnataka, where President's rule has been imposed.
 
"The Cabinet met this morning. The governor has made the recommendation regarding imposition of President's rule. The Cabinet has taken appropriate decision," Singh told reporters when asked about his views on the political developments in the state.
