The Supreme Court recently vacated the stay ordered by the Delhi High Court in the international arbitration proceedings involving ITC, Toshiba Anand Batteries, Pradeep Anand and his companies, and gave the green signal for the arbitration to go ahead.
The Delhi High Court had stayed the proceedings before the arbitrator appointed by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) at the instance of ITC and some other companies till the decision on the objections to the partial award was settled.
