Army chief says tide turning in Kashmir: Video

 General J J Singh, chief of army staff, said on Tuesday that violence in Kashmir valley was declining as disillusioned militants surrendered and more were detained.

Singh said the security situation in the restive state was "manageable" as militants were not engaging the army in head-on combat, and local people were giving more information on infiltrators.
