Asian indices gain, Nikkei up 109pts

Most of the Asian indices are in positive zone in early trades this morning.

The Nikkei has gained 109 points at 15,430. The Hang Seng has added 23 points to 16,464. The Seoul Compositive index is up over 1% at 1278.

The All Ordinaries, Shanghai, KLSE Composite, Straits Times and Taiwan Weighted indices are more or less flat at 5086, 1741, 922, 2443 and 6643, respectively.
