Asian indices in a sea of red

The Asian markets are reeling under selling pressure following losses on the Wall Street.

The Nikkei has slumped over 2% (315 points) to 14,856. The Hang Seng has shed 139 points to 15,635.

The All Ordinaries, Jakarata, Seoul Composite and Taiwan Weighted indices are down over 1% each to 4895, 1271, 1230 and 6507, respectively.
