Asian indices perk up in early trade

Asian markets are witnessing gains across following a recovery in the US markets.

The Nikkei and Hang Seng have gained around 1% each at 15,065 and 15,889, respectively.

The Seoul Composite has surged 1.6% to 1259. The Shanghai Composite and Straits Times indices are up over 1% each at 1659 and 2376, respectively.
