Asian indices rally; Nikkei up 309pts

Asian markets have posted significant gains across the board following steep gains in the US markets.

The Nikkei has rallied 2% (308 points) to 15,429. The Hang Seng has surged 1.7% (276 points) at 16,142.

The Seoul Composite and the Jakarata indices gained 2.5% each at 1293 and 1307, respectively.

The All Ordinaries and Straits Times indices are up 1.7% each at 5038 and 2428, respectively. The Taiwan Weighted index is up 1.4% at 6696.
