Asian indices start weak

The Asian indices have opened this week on a negative note with most of them down over 1% each.

The Nikkei has dropped 224 points to 14,597. The Hang Seng has slipped 106 points to 16,358.

The All Ordinaries, Jakarta Composite, Seoul Composite and Taiwan Weighted indices are down over 1% each to 4885, 1300, 1253 and 6341, respectively.
