Asian markets continue to rise

Asian markets continued to rally for the second day in a row backed by positive cues from the global markes.

Japan's Nikkei has rallied 120 points to 17,962. Hong Kong's Hang Seng has moved up 95 points to 20,962.

The Taiwan Weighted index has soared 97 points to 8548, and the Straits Times index has rallied 14 points to 3588.

The Shanghai Composite and the Seoul Composite indices are almost unchanged at 4117 and 1767, respectively.
