Asian markets in declining mode

The Asian indices are al dwindling lower following a free fall in the US indices.

The Nikkei has dropped 1.5% (240 points) to 15,428. The Hang Seng has shed 0.8% (131 points) to 15,885.

The Jakarta index has plunged 2% to 1322. The All Ordinaries, Straits Times and Taiwan indices are down over 1% each.
