Asian markets in red, Nikkei ends down 67pts

The Nikkei ended with a loss of 67 points at 16,249.

The Hang Seng has dropped 184 points to 22,785. The Shanghai Composite index, however, has gained 55 points at 5088.

The Taiwan Weighted index has slipped 43 points to 8690, and the Straits Times has shed 37 points to 3338. The Seoul Composite index is down eight points at 1791.
