Asian markets marginally up; Nikkei up 85pts

Asian markets are marginally up this morning.

The Nikkei has moved up 85 points to 16,354. The Hang Seng is up 18 points at 28,960.

The Taiwan Weighted index has advanced 33 points to 9342. The Straits Times and the Seoul Composite indices are up 20 points each at 3690 and 2036, respectively.

The Shanghai Composite index, however, has slipped 48 points to 5587.
