Asian markets mixed in early trades

Asian markets are exhibiting mixed trend this morning.

The Hang Seng has moved up 47 points to 27,257. The Shanghai Composite index has gained 40 points at 4901, and the Straits Times index is up six points at 3379.

The Nikkei has slipped 43 points to 15,179. The Taiwan Weighted index has shed 48 points at 8327, and the Seoul Composite index is down eight points at 1852.
