Asian markets rally; Hang Seng surges 4.8%

Asian markets have rallies smartly this morning.

The Nikkei has advanced 195 points to 16,701. The Hang Seng has soared 1,420 points to 31,274.

The Taiwan Weighted index has rallied 176 points to 9807. The Straits Times has gained 21 points at 3793, and the Seoul Composite index has added 34 points to 2062.

The Shanghai Composite index has moved up 132 points to 5722.
