Asian markets surge in early trade

Asian markets were seen holding significant gains in the early morning trades today.

The Nikkei has rallied 268 points to 16,140. The Hang Seng has surged 100 points to 17,384.

The Seoul Composite index has advanced over 1% to 1358. The All Ordinaries, Straites Times and Taiwan Weighted indices are up over 0.5% each to 5060, 2485 and 6633, respectively.
