Asian markets surge; Nikkei gain 361pts

Asian markets are surged smartly on the back of positive cues from the US markets.

The Hang Seng has rallied 4% (1,088 points) to 28,459. The Nikkei has surged 2.4% (361 points) to 15,515.

The Taiwan Weighted index has soared 2% (166 points) to 8442. The Straits Times index has advanced 2.8% (96 points) to 3465, and the Seoul Composite index has added 2.7% (50 points) to 1884.

The Shanghai Composite index has gained 48 points at 4851.
