Asian markets track US losses

The Asian markets are reeling under selling pressure tracking losses on the Wall Street.

The Nikkei has dropped 177 points to 14,921. The Hang Seng has plunged 216 points to 16,090.

The Seoul Compositie index has tumbled 2.7% to 1250. While the Taiwan Weighted index has slipped over 2% to 6428, the All Ordinaries index has shed 1.8% to 4964.

The Jakarata Composite index and Straits Times are down over 1% each at 1314 and 2370, respectively.
