Asian markets weak; Hang Seng down 472pts

Asian markets in green in early trades.

The Nikkei has slipped 130 points at 17,328. The Hang Seng has slumped 689 points to 28,443.

The Shanghai Composite index has plunged 143 points at 5770.

The Taiwan Weighted index has dropped 111 points to 9586. The Straits Times index has declined 42 points to 3834, and Seoul Composite index is down 31 points at 2028.
