AUSPI welcomes Sibal's 100-day agenda

Telecom representative body AUSPI on Thursday welcomed the steps being taken by Communications Minister Kapil Sibal for addressing various telecom issues including licensing, spectrum allocation and tariffs under his 100 days’ agenda. “It is laudable to know about the formulation of a comprehensive National Telecom Policy 2011, including recognition of telecom as infrastructure and essential services. We are confident that these steps will definitely propel the growth of Indian telecom sector to further growth,” AUSPI, a CDMA industry association, said in a statement.
