Azim Premji University signs pact with UAE's HCT

Bangalore-based Azim Premji University has signed an agreement with the UAE's Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in the field of education to develop the efficiency of teachers and professional educators.

The agreement was signed between Azim Premji, Chancellor of Azim Premji University (APU) and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE's Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a statement released by the UAE's official news agency Wam said.

Under the agreement, which coincides with the 10th anniversary of Wipro Technologies, the parties will work on the exchange of best practices in the field of education to develop the efficiency of the performance of professionals and improve the quality of education.

HCT Vice Chancellor Tayeb Kamali said that the agreement is the result of the distinguished and positive relations between HCT and Wipro Technologies.
