Chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has instructed city corporation officials to speed up on a priority basis all the ongoing infrastructure projects undertaken by it in this IT hub.
Yeddyurappa, who held a review meeting with officials of Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) at his residence here, directed them to hasten up the ongoing works of all subways, underpasses and flyovers in various parts of the city.
Stating that there was no paucity of resources to complete the works, he asked the officials to clean up all the water drainages in the entire BBMP area before the onset of monsoon. Yeddyurappa also visited few work-sites in the city including the one near town-hall area, where subway work is being carried out.
