British Columbia Academy (BCA) has certified its first offshore school in India. BCA, that already has certified 19 offshore programmes in several countries, and has been operating in India since August 2009, today certified the Canadian offshore school in Mohali.

British Columbia Academy President and Director Anup Shahi said BCA offered the British Columbia Ministry of Education prescribed curriculum, which was renowned internationally, to a diverse group of international and local students. “It is a unique institution for students to develop and learn as they are provided a Canadian education with an opportunity to experience the Indian culture.

Students at BCA would be enrolled as British Columbia students and upon completion of high school given the Dogwood Diploma, the British Columbia high school completion certificate. To meet the British Columbia Ministry of Education prescribed learning outcomes, BCA employs British Columbia certified principal and teachers”, added Anup Shahi.
