Bechtel, Ge May Be Kept Out Of Dabhol

The Centre and financial institutions are considering the option of excluding General Electric and Bechtel from the process of restarting the 740 MW phase-I of the Dabhol power project.

GE and Bechtel, equity holders in the project, had volunteered to carry out assessment and costing estimates for restarting the project which has been lying idle for more than one year.
