Bhajan Lal's son named deputy CM in Haryana

Former Chief Minister Bhajan Lal's son Chander Mohan was today made Haryana deputy chief minister while Birender Singh was given finance and labour portfolios as 10 Cabinet rank ministers were allocated portfolios today.
 
Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Huda, who allocated the portfolios to the Cabinet ministers sworn in last week, met Governor AR Kidwai at the Raj Bhavan here in this regard.
 
Chander Mohan will hold the food and supplies department. Former Union Minister Vinod Sharma becomes the excise and taxation minister, while Lachhman Das Arora has been given the industries department.
 
Surender Singh, son of former Chief Minister Bansi Lal, has been given the agriculture and revenue portfolio. While front-runner for the chief minister's post Birender Singh got finance, another key man who was in the race ""Randeep Singh Surjewala has been given transport and parliamentary affairs.
 
Phool Chand Mulana gets education, while OP Jindal has been given the power portfolio.
