The Lok Sabha yesterday passed two Bills amending the Securities and Contracts Regulations Act (SCRA)to clear the way for derivatives trading and bring plantation companies within the ambit of the definition of securities.
The Bills would have to be cleared by the Rajya Sabha before becoming law.
