The Indian Railways is often criticised for substandard quality services, cleanliness, even in luxury trains, poor timings and safety of passengers. But its not the case with all the trains it runs.
One of its express train will soon be awarded a quality certification. Bhopal Express, named after the Bhopal gas tragedy, will be awarded ISO certificate by 26 January, 2003.
The train, which connects Habibganj and Hazrat Nizamuddin, would be the first train in the country to be awarded ISO 9001-2000 (QMS) certificate, divisional railway manager (Bhopal) Subodh Jain said.
