The government today decided to reframe the bid documents for the restructuring of Delhi and Mumbai airports to take care of the concerns expressed by the bidders.

This was decided at the meeting of the empowered group of ministers headed by defence minister Pranab Mukherjee. Bidders would be given two weeks time to respond, civil aviation minister Praful Patel said.

He added that the new documents would take care of all the problems and concerns expressed by the bidders.

The move to reframe the bid documents would delay the process of modernisation of the two airports by a month.
