Even though the Union labour ministry is still trying to evolve a political consensus on the labour issue, there is reasonable hope in the government that the Bill pertaining to the amendment in the Industrial Dispute Act will be introduced in the Budget session of Parliament.
Union Labour Minister Sahib Singh Verma said his meeting with trade union representatives and employers would play a crucial role in clinching contentious issues.
