A joint legislature party meeting of BJP and JD(S) is to be convened here tomorrow to the discuss current political situation, former Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader B S Yeddiyurappa, who has staked claim to form a new government, said today.

"Legislators of both the parties will meet tomorrow", Yeddiyurappa told the press.

He said both the parties were contemplating to submit sworn affidavits individually by MLAs to Governor Rameshwar Thakur in an apparent move to mount pressure on him.

The move is also seen as a strategy to inform the Governor that there was no division in JD(S) and all the legislators of the party supported the BJP-led coalition.

Yeddiyurappa had yesterday staked claim to form the government after JD(S) pledged support to BJP.
