The party leaders had on Saturday submitted a memorandum to governor T N Chaturvedi deprecating the arrest, alleging that attempts were being made to denigrate the Hindus. They also sought President A P J Abdul Kalam's intervention to put an end to the 'ill treatment' of the seer. |
