BJP National Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu today said the political developments in Jharkhand and Gujarat were only "temporary" and the crisis would be over "amicably." |
"The present happenings in Jharkhand and Gujarat were not at all any political crisis. It was only a temporary phenomena and would be over amicably," he said. "Despite this, I am sure, we will bounce back to power," Naidu told newspersons. |
Referring to reservation on religious basis, Naidu said his party was against such reservations as it would drive the country towards problems. "Temporary political mileage for some parties would be dangerous to the country," he said. |
When asked about the need to change the act for reservations to converted dalits, he said "our party is against such reservations." |
