Orient Cement, a division of the Orient Paper & Industries Limited, and a member of the C K Birla group, is launching Birla A-1 blended cement in Andhra Pradesh, Vidarbha and Marathwada of Maharashtra.
The company claimed tremendous success of Orient Gold 53-grade cement.
Birla A-1 has already been well-received in parts of Mahrashtra and Mumbai where it has been introduced recently.
It is manufactured at Orient's plant in Devapur and grinding unit in Jalgaon.
It conforms to high quality standards, the release claimed. Orient Cement is already recipient of ISO 9002, ISO 14001 and TPM certfications, according to a press release issued here.
