Following the footsteps of National Stock Exchange (NSE), the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will also launch its mobile-based trading platform. BSE will announce the launch of its mobile-trading platform tomorrow.
NSE, which has announced the launch of its mobile trading platform will allow trading on it from October. NSE has 1,200 active brokers. At present, only about 10-15 big brokers have the infrastructure to offer mobile trading.
Meanwhile, Motilal Oswal Securities announced that it will make its mobile trading platform – MyBroker Mobile available from Tuesday, September 21, 2010. The platform will initially be available for trading in BSE.
This will allow Motilal Oswal’s customers to buy or sell stocks through their mobile phones. They can place market orders on real, tradable prices from anywhere, even when they are on the move.
A single log in will allow customers to see all their account details in one place, and allow user to create up to 2 Market Watch with max 10 scrip each, also view live screening quotes every 30 seconds and see market depth of each scrip selected.
