BSES refutes consumer discrimination charges

 BSES has applied for a licence from the state power regulator, the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC), to supply power in Pune, Navi Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad and the BEST area in Mumbai. BEST is opposing the move to enter its area.

 BSES has argued that under Section 43 of the Electricity Act 2003, it will be required to supply power to everyone
