BSES seeks security deposit from consumers

 The company has shot off letters to several consumers seeking such deposits.

 The company has offered to pay an interest of 5.5 per cent per annum on such deposits. If the deposit is not paid within seven days of the receipt of the bill, the company has said that it may disconnect power supply.
