Most of the BPOs had asked their employees to reach office early and to take "safe" routes to the office. Head of HR at Nucleus, Ravi Verma, said, "Most people reached the office early at about 8:30 am as they had been told not to take the main roads."
Genpact officials claimed their operations were not hit as the agitation had been announced in advance, giving then time to take necessary measures.
HCL employees said they, specially the ones living in the NCR, had been advised not to take the DND (Delhi-Noida-Delhi) flyover.
