Cabinet may not discuss fuel price hike

The Union Cabinet is unlikely to consider the issue of petrol and diesel price revision at its meeting tomorrow.

"The cabinet is scheduled to meet tomorrow afternoon. This (price revision) is not on the agenda as of now," a petroleum ministry official said.

Petroleum Minister Murli Deora was also non-committal on the issue saying, "I cannot say if revision is happening or not."
